Skystream Towers from Southwest Windpower

Skystream 3.7 Tower Options

The towers are engineered specifically for use with the Skystream system to ensure the safest, longest-lasting, most-efficient life of your turbine.
All Skystream 3.7 systems are sold with one of the approved towers.
Southwest Windpower does not recommend third-party manufactured towers or mounting systems for your Skystream wind generator.
Use of such towers may affect the safety and performance of your system and will void your warranty.
Check with your dealer to ensure he or she is using one of the Skystream authorized towers.
Take control of your energy needs with Skystream, the personal wind turbine that converts wind into clean, low-cost electricity for your home or business.
Its innovative technology and good old American ingenuity provide you with the power to lower your energy bills, decrease your CO2 emissions and become more energy independent – all from your backyard or parking lot.
When you buy a Skystream, you can rest assured. It’s thoroughly tested and certified by unbiased, independent organizations, plus it comes with a five-year warranty.
Will it work for me?

If your site meets the following criteria, it’s likely Skystream will work for you:

At least 10 mph (4.5 m/s) average wind speed; best results at 12 mph (5.4 m/s) or more
Your property is at least 0.5 acre (0.2 hectare) and has unobstructed views
The local zoning allows a structure that is at least 52 ft. (16 m) tall
Your utility has an interconnection agreement for distributed energy equipment
Southwest Windpower or your local Skystream dealer can help answer any of the questions you are not sure about
Installation is a Breeze.

It takes just two days* to install a Skystream. Nothing in your house changes. We simply install the foundation, erect the turbine, connect it to your meter and that’s it. You’ll be enjoying all the benefits of wind energy in no time.
